- Provides the REST backend for MCon Web, Ingestion, Remote App pairing, Manager workflows, and machine-terminal integrations.
- Manages authentication, users, roles, permissions, application settings, license state, support requests, pricing metadata, and installed-version compatibility.
- Stores and serves machines, connections, datapoints, latest values, shopfloor dashboards, frames, widgets, linkings, and grouped connection hierarchies.
- Persists machine-terminal templates, revision-protected layouts, reusable configuration presets, machine assignments, localized downtime reasons, and synchronized counter values.
- Provides ERP/MES order-provider APIs with encrypted credentials, restricted hosts and redirects, bounded requests, redacted audit records, idempotent actions, and durable reconciliation.
- Stores regular linkings and reusable mapping files while keeping their public APIs and data-transfer formats consistent.
- Validates mobile Shopfloor layouts and applies connection, signal, datapoint, source-catalog, and media-access authorization consistently.
- Audits configuration and state changes and allows authorized machine-terminal administrators to delete connection timelines.
- Coordinates Remote App pairing, browser approvals, paired devices, device revocation, and authoritative access deadlines.

- Accepts explicit signed offline licenses and combines offline and approved online entitlements while keeping valid offline capabilities available independently.
- Protects license imports and offline provisioning with encrypted keys, atomic replacement, pending registration artifacts, and local integrity checks.
- Keeps connection state accurate when connections are enabled, disabled, connected, or disconnected and returns the current state immediately to clients.
