First public Remote Gateway release
- Provides the customer-hosted secure entry point for MCon Remote without a Pageforce cloud dependency.
- Terminates mobile app connections and relays HTTP, WebSocket, and Server-Sent Events traffic through the outbound EdgeBox Remote Agent tunnel.
- Verifies one-time signed QR invitations and coordinates device registration without exposing the EdgeBox publicly.
- Issues revocable device sessions and keeps access expiry authoritative across reconnects.
- Requires fresh phone approval for browser sessions and limits browser access with short-lived session credentials.
- Supports local JSON storage or customer-managed MongoDB storage for paired devices, sessions, invitations, and audit records.
- Supports TLS termination directly or operation behind a trusted customer reverse proxy.
- Serves the Remote browser experience and its required visual assets locally with a restrictive same-origin security policy.
- Provides operational health information, connected-EdgeBox visibility, device administration, and audit history.
- Runs together with the Remote Agent as the optional Remote access profile of the customer-hosted MCon stack.
